Watch repair service overview

Three services, each done well

A focused range built around the work we do most carefully: a visual review, a lume refresh, and a full heritage workshop engagement.

How every service is handled

01

Initial enquiry

You send a brief description of the piece. We respond within one working day to confirm the service and arrange a time.

02

Bench work with updates

Work proceeds at the bench with written notes and photographs shared at each significant stage. We pause for approval before any major decision.

03

Collection with documentation

The piece is returned with any service documentation and, for heritage engagements, a written record of all work carried out.

Pre-Service Visual Review at the bench

Pre-Service Visual Review

RM 470

A short bench visit covering visual review of a watch's exterior, case condition, and basic operation. The team takes notes on the dial, hands, crown, and bezel where present, and shares a brief written observation with the owner. The session is friendly and unhurried, useful before deciding whether further work is needed. Common for newly acquired or recently inherited pieces.

  • Covers case, crystal, dial, hands, crown, bezel
  • Brief written observation shared after the session
  • No disassembly — exterior and basic operation only
  • Suitable for inherited, newly acquired, or uncertain pieces

Lume Refresh

RM 1,150

Careful lume refresh on hands and indices for vintage and modern pieces. The bench reviews the existing material, chooses an appropriate tone, and applies new lume with steady technique. Photographs are shared before and after, and the owner can pause the project if they prefer to keep the original look. Suitable for owners considering a sympathetic restoration rather than a full re-dial.

  • Tone matched to the period and character of the piece
  • Before-and-after photographs shared throughout
  • Owner can pause or decline after seeing the before photograph
  • Covers hands and indices — sympathetic to original layout

2

Applied across all services

Secure handling and logging

Each piece is logged on arrival with a condition note. It remains in secure storage when not at the bench and is returned only to its registered owner.

Bench-calibrated tools

Movement work is carried out with watchmaker-grade instruments maintained to appropriate tolerances. Timing is checked with a dedicated timing machine at completion.

Clean-room bench conditions

Movement work takes place in a dust-controlled environment. Ultrasonic cleaning is used for small components, and fresh lubricants are applied to manufacturer specifications.

Client data handled privately

Contact details and service records are used only for the purpose of your engagement and are retained securely. No details are shared with third parties.

One-day response standard

All enquiries and progress questions are replied to within one working day. Update intervals during a project are agreed at the outset.

Removed parts returned

Original parts removed during any service are kept and returned with the watch unless you ask otherwise. We do not discard original components without discussion.

Transparent service fees

Prices are fixed and confirmed before work begins. Parts required for the Heritage Workshop Engagement are quoted separately.
